The Document Imaging module is a seamless scanning solution for businesses looking to convert hard-copy documentation to a searchable, paperless database. It can be used to clean up file cabinets of historic information, to process paper résumés, or as a layer of backup redundancy.
First, a user scans documents using any multifunctional product with a scanning option or scanner with a TWAIN compliant driver. Scanned images are then indexed according to user-defined fields which will become searchable when documents load into Qualtrax.
Once imported, documents can be routed to specific people and used to automate business processes using the Qualtrax
workflow engine.
